On August 30, 1996, the Four Queens announced that the Monday Night Jazz show was ending. When the Four Queens opened, it only had 120 rooms and 20,000 square feet of gaming space inside the casino. The Four Queens, which cost about $5.5 million was eventually topped out and officially opened on June 2, 1966. The White Cross was relocated when the store was demolished south down on Las Vegas Boulevard, where it remains open to this day. Ben had a plan to build his own hotel and casino named after his four sisters: Michele, Benita, Faith, and Hope. In 1964, the land a White Cross Drug Store was on was purchased by Ben Goffstein, along with 30 other investors.
The hotel and casino opened back in 1966 and is currently owned by TLC Casino Enterprises. The Four Queens is a 600-room Victorian Carnival-themed hotel and casino located on 202 East Fremont Street in the middle of the Fremont Street Experience in Downtown Las Vegas, Nevada.
